Return to Normandy

Former Chiefs LB, Donnie Edwards, brought 43 World War II veterans back to Normandy for D-Day 73 years later. Edwards wanted to honor his grandfather, who survived Pearl Harbor, as well as all WW II veterans, by starting the Best Defense Foundation. Together with Delta Airlines, caretakers, and a medical team, the veterans returned to the site where they had fought and lost friends.
