Smithsonian Transcription Work

This summer I started to transcribe for the Smithsonian. It has been a really great experience as I have learned smaller details from bigger events, such as reading about how schools were affected during the Civil War. Transcribing for the Smithsonian gives me an opportunity to dive deeper into my passion for history, while also contributing to the history community as well.
